The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a Jamaican national, identified as DORAY DAMIAN EAST, who was denied entry into Trinidad and Tobago, by immigration authorities at Piarco International Airport, on February 24th, 2016, after his passport was found to have been tampered with.
According to a report submitted on the matter, 33 year o ld Mr. East, allegedly used obscene language and displayed ‘disorderly and violent behaviour’ after being informed of the denial of entry.
He was subsequently charged with destruction of property belonging to the Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago, valued at $3700.00, and obscene language.
On February 26th , 2016, when the matter was called before an Arima Magistrate the case was dismissed due to the non-appearance of the complainant from the Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago.
The court had not been informed or advised by the complainant of the impending deportation of Mr. East and therefore the need for him to be detained and confined. Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is therefore seeking the assistance of the public in the apprehension of DORAY DAMIAN EAST who gave his address in Trinidad a Church Street, Maraval, but who has not been found at this location.
He gave his address in Jamaica as West Hills, Montego Bay.
