A man is just a man- a refrain made popular by Jamaican reggae artist, the late Garnett Silk. No truer could those words be than the present day. Amid COVID-19 restrictions, stock market turbulence, the uncertainty of how life, post-COVID-19 will be, many are reassessing their lifestyles, coming down to earth and getting in touch with what truly matters.
Trinidad and Tobago’s Prime Minister, Dr. Keith Rowley- never one to alter his persona or taper his words, gave the world a sneak peak into his life at home, in a social media post that could be viewed as encouraging to those who look up to him. The Prime Minister posted a few pictures on Instagram, showing him in the garden.
He explained that since he had moved into the official Prime Minister’s resident in St. Ann’s, Trinidad, he had started a kitchen garden. He said he goes into his garden when he has a little time ; guess this just goes to show that no matter one’s position in life, a humble soul often shines through by his humble actions.
