Accusations continue to be thrown between the Minister of Education Anthony Garcia and the Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers Association.
TTUTA revealed recently that only 80 schools of the 140 earmarked for construction was actually completed.
The Association has been heavily criticized by the Education Minister.
He says he was informed that during a meeting between TTUTA and an officer of the Ministry of Education sensitive information was shared which TTUTA aired in the public domain.
However he revealed that the information was not meant for public consumption.
He said that the document was based on preliminary information that described the situation at the time however he divulged that since then conditions have improved.
Meanwhile Chief Education officer Harrylal Seecharan says that the information was in fact taken out of context.
