The Trinbago Unified Calypsonians Organisation is insisting it will continue to push for local music and content to be placed higher on the agenda.
TUCO executive member, Ann Parks Cudjoe better known in the Calypso arena as Twiggy commented on the matter during an interview with News Power Now.
October is being observed as Calypso History month.
Twiggy admitted that the art form has not been given the kind of respect it deserves.
Ms Cudjoe said it has been a struggle over the years for adequate air play for calypso.
