The National Trade Union Center has insisted that its members cannot be prevented by anyone from attending Labour Day celebrations on June 19th.
Acting NATUC President and Head of the Public Services Association, Watson Duke, said despite a warning for the union not to participate in the annual Labour Day activities in Fyzabad that will not be heeded.
Mr Duke was speaking at a news briefing held in Port of Spain on Monday.
Mr Duke said NATUC has demonstrated in the past that it will fight for the interest and well being of workers.
