A US citizen was shot and killed by gunmen at his former home.

Mahadeo Jerrybandan ,75, who was school teacher was shot to death at Cooper St. San Fernando 10:30PM last night.

According to reports his son was downstairs of their two story house, when he heard a loud explosion, on checking ,he discovered father’s body in the bathroom.
A man was seen fleeing from the scene.

Mr. Jerrybandan came to Trinidad In August to take part in a Hindu prayer that began yesterday.

He was expected to return soon to his Florida home.

No motive was given but police believe it was a hit.
