News Americas, MIAMI, FL – A popular billionaire whose Caribbean island was recently decimated by Hurricane Irma, is the latest icon to be accused of sexual assault.
As the list continues to grow, a 44-year-old singer from Florida has accused Virgin Group founder, Sir Richard Branson, of “sexual assault” at his Caribbean home, Necker Island, in the British Virgin Islands.
Antonia Jenae told The Sun newspaper that she was invited to Sir Richard’s home in the Caribbean along with singer Joss Stone in June 2010 when Branson put his face in her breasts and mimicking the sound of a motorboat – “went brrrrrr”.
“We were by the bar and he was saying bye to everyone,” Jenae was quoted by the newspaper as saying. “He came up to me and put his face on my breasts. He went ‘brrrrrr’ and just walked away.”
Jenae also claims Sir Richard also tried to get her to show him “my boobs,” which she refused. She told the paper she decided to speak out following the scandal that has engulfed Hollywood.
Branson, however, said through a spokesperson, that he has “no recollection” of the alleged “sexual assault.”
“Richard has no recollection of this matter and neither do his family and friends, who were with him on the island at the time,” the statement said. “There would never have been any intention to offend or make anyone feel uncomfortable in any way and Richard apologizes if anyone felt that way during their time on the island.”
