Despite the almost perfect picture being painted by the police service’s administration, The Police Social and Welfare Association however remains adamant that the latest offer presented by Chief Personnel Officer, Stephanie Lewis, will not be accepted.
Executive members of the Association did not attend wage negotiations with the CPO at her St Vincent Street, Port of Spain Office yesterday.
Association President, Inspector Anand Ramesar, in a News Power Now interview yesterday said there is need for serious review of the figures proposed by the CPO.
Inspector Ramesar said feedback received by the association suggests a drop in morale in the service as a result of the ongoing situation.
