WASA Gets Set to COLLECT. Pay Up or Face the Consequences.

The Water and Sewage Authority is getting tough with delinquent customers.

WASA Chairman, Romney Thomas, speaking at the opening of the Mc Kai Booster Station at Belmont on Tuesday said the utility is embarking on a debt collection drive.

He said WASA will utilize powers available to it to get outstanding funds and is prepared to give consideration in some cases.

Meanwhile, Public Utilities Minister, Robert Le Hunte, called on citizens who have not be honoring their payments to the utility, to do so.
