The break-away section of the Public Services Association led by Rosana Robinson contends they will not move from the union’s Abercromby Street headquarters in Port of Spain.

Her position comes following a meeting with Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mervin Richardson on Friday.

His intervention came after a tense stand-off between the break-away fraction of the union which insists President Watson Duke must comply with the decision of the executive council and demit office.

Reflecting on Thursday’s events, Ms Robinson described it as a traumatic experience and added that they are determine to press on until Mr Duke leaves the building and his leadership position.
