Works Minister Rohan Sinanan

Works and Transport Minister Rohan Sinanan is of the view that moving forward the Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago will have to take serious measures to improve efficiency.

He has also revealed that a committee has been set up which will look at the port’s operations and submit recommendations.

Speaking at a sitting of the Joint Select Committee on Land and Physical Infrastructure, which posed questions about the inter-island ferry service this week, Minister Sinanan said major profits will have to be made at the entity and all will be done to ensure the nation gets value for money.
