Yet Another Group Lashes Out At Vernella Alleyne- Toppin

by | Apr 1, 2015 | 1 comment

NEWS GRAPHIC 15A crisis of Leadership. This is how the Trinidad and Tobago Council of Evangelical Churches labels the current situation in Trinidad and Tobago. In a statement issued to the media today, the group adds its voice in criticizing the statements made recently by Tobago East Member of Parliament, Vernella Alleyne – Toppin, against Opposition Leader, Dr. Keith Rowley.

The Evangelical group says it has been their observation that some members of parliament have displayed less than appropriate behavior, adding that this has become progressively dreadful .

Arguing that parliamentary privileges should not be used conveniently as a forum for slander, embarrassment and the pursuit of personal agendas, the group says it condemns the behavior of Mrs. Vernella Alleyne Toppin who in their opinion assassinated the character of the Opposition Leader.

The Evangelical group is today calling on this country’s leaders to not only show competence but also character, noting that the country’s children are our greatest losers when such behavior is portrayed.

I know many of the new churches have leaders who are rapists and sexmaniacs. I still remember this American preacher Swaggart. Therefore it is no surprise that these preachers and hypocrits take the side of a rapist. However, there is more to say. This man is not only a rapist, but there is plenty evidence he is a murderer too. I was told he will do everything to erase the work of A.N.R. Robinson who made T&T a one love nation. The late Mr. Robinson wanted Tobago being a paradise for retirement for people from all over the world. Now this man is organising the murder of foreign pensioners. So it happened in 2008 a Swedish couple was murdered. In 2009 a murder attempt of a British couple and in 2014 a German couple was murdered. This will continue until no foreigner owns land in Tobago anymore.
